The 2009/10 350CDI is the 232bhp engine. There were a raft of changes made for MY2011 that upped the power to 265bhp and improved both fuel consumption and lowered the emissions band for VED. Part of that efficiency improvement was wrought by the adoption of the 7G+ gearbox at the same time.
The requirement is very specific and you should get the correct part number from Merc or from another manufacturer who used these gearboxes (e.g. they were fitted to bigger Citroens). But make sure you are buying oil for this type of gearbox. Using the wrong oil is disastrous, will wreck the box.
