Theymake kids scramblers for kids and it's a reasonably safe practice off-road, good fun too. It's the people using them in public areas that are idiots. Obviously driving scramblers around estates is a terrible thing and unsafe but why not build a big track somewhere in wicklow or close to Dublin where most of the off road bike problems are?

Stay off that slab stuff, it suits secondary roads & invest in some sort of screen, Will average a higher speed than the KLR but not as good as the wee at touring.
